Low Cost Car Insurance or Proper Liability Coverage?

by Joseph Welusz

Before you try to decide what the right amount of coverage should be. You first need to understand what Automobile Liability Insurance covers. There are always two factors that make up liability coverage. There is bodily injury and property damage liability.

Bodily injury liability covers just that, injuries that are caused do to an auto accident:

1. Initial aid

2. Doctor bills due to the accident

3. Restitution for lost salary

4. Final expenses

5. Legal counsel costs

Property damage liability protects you against damages that you cause to another in a car accident.

1. Structural damage to homes, storefronts, etc.

2. Restauration cost for other immobile objects

3. Car restoration or replacement expenses

So now the question is what limits of coverage do I need? Each state has there own minimum guidelines. Usually around $15,000/$30,000 $15,000 but that will vary by state. When you look at the coverage’s I just wrote down you might be thinking there are three numbers there not two I don’t understand. Bodily injury liability coverage comes in two forms either split limit coverage which is shown above or single limit coverage.

Split Limits: Then if you decided to have split limit coverage the 15,000 from the paragraph above misrepresenting individual coverage for injuries incurred during an accident. While the 30,000 is the total for injuries that incurred for the entire accident with a separate 15,000 for property damages. If you had chosen a single limit of coverage there is only one limit to be divided however need up to the maximum chosen for bodily injury.

The number that always ends your liability coverage is your property damage limit in the above example it is represented by $15,000.

You have probably realized the disadvantage of carrying stat minimum limits 15,000/30,000/15,000. With the price of cars rising and the already high costs of property around the country it makes sense to have more than the 15,000 for property damage. With medical expenses at there highest ever it only makes sense to raise your bodily injury limits as well.

The most common amount of coverage around the country is split limit of 100,000/300,000/50,000 but you might want to consider even higher limits. The cost to raise liability from 15,000/30,000/15,000 to 100,000/300,000/100,000 or even higher shouldn’t cost more than a couple of hundreds of dollars per year. I’ll personally spend a little more now to save thousands later just in case I was sued for expenses costing more than my coverage limits.

Reduce Acne..stop using traditional insect repellents

by Dr. Green

How frustrating is it to go out during the summer and have to deal with annoying mosquitoes and worry about applying an oily mosquito repellent on your skin. You have to debate if you want to use insect repellent and if you should spray it on your face. If you battle from acne or sensitive skin this can be a major headache.

Traditional mosquito repellents are oil based and contain harmful chemicals that can cause your skin to break out. There are certain chemical based insect repellents that are linked to causing your pores to produce excess oil. If you are out during the day and have repellent on your hands there are going to be times that you are going to touch your face.

Scientist have discovered there are over 300 chemicals that our body produces that mosquitoes are attracted to. They have kept some of these chemicals a secret, but has made public that these chemicals are embedded in our lactic acid. Lactic acid is excreted from our pores.

This is also the reason why some people get bit more than other people. Some people produce more lactic acid that others and some produce more chemicals that the mosquitoes are attracted to. It?s just like body odor.. some people smell worst than others when they sweat or not.

The way most mosquito repellents work is by reducing and changing the chemical structure of your lactic acid by clogging your pores. Think about how certain deodorants keep you from sweating and smelling awful. Deet which is the active ingredient in most insect repellents clog your pores and prevents your lactic acid from being identified by mosquitoes. The major problem with Deet is that it has many harmful side effects. There are also certain parts on your body that produce more lactic acid than others. This is also why people receive more bites in certain spots. The bad news is that if you are prone to acne you produce a larger amount of lactic acid on your face. The last thing you want to do is spray harmful pore clogging insect repellent on your face. There is actually a new product on the market that is scientifically proven to mask the chemicals from your lactic acid without having to clog your pores or apply anything to your skin. It releases a natural aroma that has been proven to cover up and eliminate the chemicals that are found in your lactic acid. It works exactly how Febreze works by eliminating odors in your house.

Tips For Installing Surround Sound

by Lee Dobbins

If you’re installing up a home theater you should seriously consider installing surround sound - otherwise you’ll be missing out on a vital part of the home theater experience! Although ordinary speakers will mimic the sounds of the movie, the surround sound speakers will provide greater quality and make you feel as if you’re sitting right in the center of the action on the screen.

With the inclusion of a digital media port the good surround speakers will be more versatile in respect of adaptability and functions. With this digital media port you can play music from your ipod, your computer or any Bluetooth device and take the audio on those devices as well. This will also make extraordinary tone and range that the speakers will produce.

You want to make sure you go for quality when choosing surround sound speakers. To get a good surround sound you will need at least 5 speakers. Normally the systems have 3 to5 wall mountable speakers and a subwoofer. The wall speakers give a wide sound field, a good resounding sound and so the more they are in number ,the better will be the sound. Two front speakers, a center speaker, and two rear speakers and a subwoofer will complete the enthralling experience you wish to get .

Installing surround sound speakers can be trying at best, given the excessive wiring on the floor, under the floor (along with the drilled holes that requires) or worming against baseboards, it can be a daunting task. However, you can eliminate all this trouble by buying wireless speakers!

It’s important to decide where you want to place your center speaker. If you want it to be close to the television you should purchase one that is magnetically shielded to prevent it from distorting the image. Also make sure the subwoofer has its own power supply.

Also bear in mind that you wish to be certain you have a good receiver. Buy a receiver that’s as high wattage as you can manage, and be sure it has at least a 4-channel Dolby Pro Logic decoder. As well, look foor Digital Cinema Sound and Auto Calibration if you desire the most realistic and crisp sound you can get. One way you can distinguish quality receivers from substandard ones is to note that the best ones have separate controls for music and movies, and connections for headphone, speakers, and other devices will have easy access.

Installing surround sound is very time-consuming and complicated, so you may wish to get a professional to do the job. Picking the right receiver and speakers is truly the most critical part, so after you have done that, you’ve won most of the battle.

Are You Using This Internet Marketing Secret?

by John Neyman

If you are trying to sell a product or service on the Internet, then you are probably doing so through an affiliate program. You signed up as an affiliate (usually for free) and they gave you an affiliate ID (user name or number). They may have even given you a basic marketing package which includes text ads, banner ads, and solo ads with a link to your affiliate sales page. All you have to do is use these tools to get traffic to your affiliate sales page.

Well that sounds pretty easy, doesn’t it? This process actually works too, except that your probability of converting your traffic into sales is very, very, very low. In other words, you may have to have thousands of people to visit your affiliate sales page before you ever see your first sell. Now those aren’t very good odds, are they?

Unfortunately, that is what most people do. They spend a lot of time, effort, and money getting all of those people to that affiliate sales page and then they finally make a sale and earn a referral fee or commission. But wait, it can get even worse. Let’s say that you made one sale and earned a $10 commission. That’s great, right? Well not really, because in the terms and conditions of your affiliate program, you don’t actually get paid until you have accumulated at least $20 of commissions. So get back to it and get another sale and finally get paid. Good grief!

Don’t quit! Internet marketing is a great way to make extra money, but you have to know some of the secrets. Here’s one. “Don’t advertise your affiliate program directly.” You must use a four step process.

Four Step Process

1. First, you must provide something of value. The easiest valuable thing that you can give away is information. An informative email course, special report, or ebook are all great ways to give away free information.

2. This step goes along with the initial step above. Don’t give away your free information until you get an email address. You must capture the name and email address of your prospective sale in order to be able to implement the next step.

3. If the information that you are providing is good and helps people, then you will earn some trust. If someone gives you some information that saves you time, money, or effort; then you are going to closely read anything that they send you - as long as the information is still valuable. This is why it is so important that you get that name and email address before you start giving away your information. Now you can keep the information flowing through an occasional email to your prospect.

4. Finally, if you have been providing valuable information and earning trust from people, it is much more likely that they will buy something that you recommend. This is especially true if you can convince them that what you are recommending will help them and that it is worth their money. The easiest way to do this is to recommend something that you have actually purchased and use yourself. Just tell them how it helped you and why you think that it was worth what you paid for it!

Bind it up and Wrap it in

by Trevor Wallace

So what holds that Cuban cigar of yours intact. You know the actual layer to the most outside of a Cuban cigar? That oily wrapper (At least it’s suppose to be a little oily if it’s a good cigar)is what is outside of the binder. Yes the construction of Cuban cigars is a art on it’s own.

It amazes me when people ask me can I roll my own Cuban cigars? I usually tell them of course you can, and while you are at it might as well build a jumbo jet and go on a world tour. You see, Cuban cigars are so complex and the more you learn about them, the details will simply blow you away.

We are not talking about trashy crappy cigarettes here, this is a Cuban cigar my friend. A tradition that has many days of history behind it and a quite rich one too as I might say. After the binder, comes the wrapper that covers your Cuban cigars. A wrapper is essential for any Cuban cigar and so is the binder. Without these two objects, the whole process is just incomplete.

“Torecdores” or Cuban cigar rollers are well respected individuals and rightfully so. Rolling Cuban cigars is an art form that only the truly gifted can master. When you get a chance to go to Cuba, you must drop by at a Havana factory and see the miracle for yourself. It is simply mind blowing the sophistication behind each single Cuban cigar.

It is down right impossible to make a ‘good’ cigar without a binder. That is why when people try Cuban cigars, they are just so overwhelmed by the consistency. Cuban cigars are consistent throughout for a reason because it is a tradition that every one follows in Cuban and has been for a long time.

Wireless spy cams- no more messy wires

by Todd Martin

If you are one among those who have no other alternative but to entrust your little one in hands of a nanny but are always worried about their safety all the time? Or what your employees do when you’re not at your business? If there has been a theft or mishandling of staff then as an employer installing a spy cam to inspect everyone will put an end to all those intruders.

If you are thinking of getting yourself a hidden camera in your office or home, then you will have to choose from wireless or wired options. The wireless however as the name implies will have no physical wire between the VCR and the gadget. The counterpart the wired makes it difficult to be disguised due to its clutter of wires that are present.

A nanny cam is just like any other object that is right in front of you but has a camera installed in it. This high tech video camera can be placed in any part of your home. The options can range from your mundane furniture to a toy with which the baby plays with. You can find even nanny cams installed even in wall clocks at the www.my-spycam.com. Times have changed and technology has left its mark on every sphere of life. The most alluring benefit of this cameras are that they are so light weight and easy to place anywhere.

With a wireless spy camera at your aid, you can keep a closer watch on the childcare that you have for your toddler. The whole point of a wireless gadget is to be easily disguised into anything so light weight that can easily be handled. The installation package that comes along with any purchase makes using it a piece of cake. The instruction manual is easy to use and be fitted within no time.

The only limiting factor is that it has a transmission range of 150 feet indoors depending upon the number of walls. This high-tech and advanced piece can disguise in anything for covert monitoring. It transmits clear, colour video to any recording device as per your choice be it monitor or TV set. Nanny cams are all available in varying prices; you will surely get one that will fit your budget. Nanny cams will put all your worries to rest. The greatest feeling that you get when you have purchased this asset is that peace of mind and you?re regaining the trust in child care.

There are many online portals available but I would surely recommend www.my-spycam.com. They have all the possible security systems be it for indoor, outdoor, and even underwater surveillance needs. This is your one stop for all your security needs. They have such a price reduction at almost all the models that you might be in luck right in time to get a bargain. Choose one that will blend in beautifully with the environment and is difficult to recognize but at the same time is doing its job. They will help you in all your personal and professional needs.

Finding Hotels in New York City

by Gee Njuguna

have noticed one particular thing in my many months of travel. I find that lots of folks give up getting good deals even before they start. It seems to me as if bartering as an art seems to have been lost on many as is the art of comparison shopping. For every cent that you save while traveling when doing shopping for food, transport or even accommodation and transport is an extra coin that you have for spending on things such as adventure and entertainment.

In the awesome city of New York, there is much that you can do as you go about your business here and a vacation in this city is like an Alice’s adventures in wonderland. This city has so much to offer that its hard to know where to start from. One of the things that i would strongly recommend is to make arrangements to save some cash before landing in New York. You can do this by taking time each evening to reflect and take notes about whom you’ve had a chance to talk to and what they offered you in terms of price & perks for accommodations.

Due to high competition, many hotels in New York are willing to offer perks to their clients in order for them to sleep in their hotels. The managers of these hotels are aggressive in selling the properties they manage since they know the more rooms they fill the more money they will make for the hotels resulting in secure jobs for themselves.

If you are aggressive enough and make notes of the hotels you’ve had a chance to visit and make tentative arrangements with, you will most likely work out a deal with one of them that is better that what they originally offered you.

This method might not work out very well if you try to secure a deal on a weekend that is known to be popular for travel. Therefore i would advice that you don’t search for accommodation in New York on popular holiday dates or on extended weekends for your trip. Apart from these, the rest of the weekends are open to all unless there is a popular event going onthat will attract a huge crowd to stay in the hotels.

Remember what i said in the beginning that many people usually give up good deals even before they try to get one? Not only can you get better deals by comparing competing hotels in New York, but can also get free perks such as meals, tickets to shows, spa packages at the respective hotels and gift certificates at the hotel gift store. You will be surprised at the length hotel managers will go in order to get business from you. The manager will be willing to risk doing business with you on the assumption that he will make up the “losses” in add-ons and other purchases.

Please remember to tip generously coz after all you are getting a lot in terms of price bargain. Some New York hotel managers can feel let down if you turn out to be frugal or cheap. Being cheap is one thing and frugal another. Its not a good idea to treat the staff badly because the will remember your actions long after you have left. The idea here is to be nice and polite when dealing with New York city hotel managers over the telephone and going presenting your best deal.

Do remember that getting the cheapest room does not necessarily mean that you are getting the best deal. There are other ways of looking at it. For example, if you are getting 1 or 2 meals every day that you stay at the hotel, and yet you are only paying five or 1o dollars more, then this might turn out to be a good deal, particularly if one of those meals turns out to be dinner.

Buying window blinds and awnings in Luton and Dunstable, Bedfordshire

May I introduce Quickfit Blinds of Luton and Dunstable, Bedfordshire.

They offer a complete range of blinds and motorized awnings. Wooden venetian and verticals are their most popular ranges, but don’t forget they do the good old fashioned roller and aluminium venetians as well.

Quikfit Blinds are a little different to the other blinds companies in the Luton area becuase of the extensive selection they offer. They don’t just carry one sample book and carry up to five in the case of wooden venetians.

This is how the service works. You call them on 01582 390511 and arrange a free no obligation appointment.

Appointments are strictly no obligation because Quickfit appreciate that you can’t match fabrics to your decor very well in a showroom - you need to see them in your own home.

Delivery times are usually 1 to 3 weeks depending on what you order and how busy the factories are, but all blinds are targeted to be fitted within 2 weeks.

Much of their business is from happy customers using them again or referring others, and it is on this basis that I am happy to suggest you take a free no obligation quote from them.

How To Find A List Of Simple DOS Commands

by Michael Collins

A complete list of DOS commands is a very extensive list. Usually when you search for a list of simple DOS commands, you will only get the top few, or the most popular ones.

Microsoft Corp has MS-DOS as it’s trademark. Disk Operating System is what DOS stands for. The reason it was written (it is software) - was to control hardware. That hardware was the IBM PC. When it was introduced to the computing industry in 1981, Microsoft Windows was not even on the drawing board. The user interface for DOS is a plain simple command line. The last update for DOS which was ver 6.22 happened in 1994.

The command prompt you will find yourself at when on the DOS command line is this: “C:\>”. From this prompt, you can tell that unless otherwise specified, the next command you issue is expected to be found on the C drive, which is the main hard disk. To change where you want to run your files from, you can issue the following command “D:” or “E:” etc. Then you will find yourself at a “D:\>” prompt or “E:\>” prompt.

Throughout the years there have been many versions of DOS. These include:

1. PC DOS

2. MS-DOS version

3. DR-DOS version

4. 4DOS.

DOS can be used in conjunction with windows. If you are very familiar with DOS commands, sometimes it can even be quicker to take the shortcut to DOS, and type your DOS command on the command line, than to go through the pretty Windows user interface. So it can be advantageous to have on hand a list of simple DOS commands.

Another great use for DOS in today’s era, is when Windows spits the dummy and simply won’t co-operate, DOS commands is what you are left with to communicate with your computer.

Virtually most things you really need to do, can be done with a DOS prompt. So in reality, a list of simple DOS commands can be a great thing to have.

File and directory management are what the main and most common DOS commands are about. Microsoft Windows XP provides DOS command shell, which contains 71 DOS commands.

If you have a DOS user manual, this will be your best source when you are searching for a list of simple DOS commands.

I would have never guessed it…

by BasketGirl

Every year, when my dad’s birthday comes around, my family faces the same question: what do we get him for his birthday? I can count on my mom, brother and sister to drop hints, but my dad never helps us out at all with that. We looked through stores and catalogs and just couldn’t find anything that seemed right for him, until we heard about this golf tournament that included a chance to play with past PGA pros!

What did we do? We signed him up. He never saw this coming. My father lives for golf. Every day he is out on the green putting. Everyday he is watching it on television. Everyday he is practicing his chipping and working on ?breaking? in his driver. I think it?s an addiction.

The golf tournament finally comes around, and my father and his friends all play together. It lasts all day, along with a silent auction and dinner included. He says the dinner was incredible; he thanked us over and over again, proclaiming the food was really great, at the silent auction he put in his bid for something he longed for.

My mother ate her $25 worth of desserts throughout the evening. She said the food wasn’t as tempting as everything on the dessert table. She went along over to the auction table carrying what looked like three slices of cake, maybe even one slice of cheesecake.

My father bids on a couple things. He bids on a picture of an athlete, which is autographed by the athlete. He bids on some shirts, and some other items. He then comes across this weed whacker which he wants for his property down south. He places his bid, and maintains the highest bid. I’ve never seen a man so excited.

My mom does the same thing as my dad only she does it with gift baskets. I remember her stating that this place had so many different types of gift baskets to choose from. She seemed to look at wine gift baskets the most. My dad loves wine and food, therefore she wanted to get him something he truly loved for his birthday. She bid on several gift baskets full of assorted wines and meats. She wanted to buy a gift basket for my father, as well as for my relatives, during the upcoming holiday season. In my opinion, it’s a very good idea for the money.

When the silent auction ended, my mother had won her gift baskets. She was very excited. Then it was time for the live auction. The first item up for bid? The string trimmer my dad wanted! Unfortunately, he didn’t win, but his disappointment didn’t last long. He had been having such a great time. Something like a simple auction item wasn’t going to bring him down! It was a great day, and I know it’s a birthday gift he’ll always appreciate.
