Tattoo for Girl Clients: Things To Consider
There are now so many designs for tattoo for girl clients. If you browse through a couple of online galleries, you will surely find a couple of designs that you would consider having. Before you do get yourself tattooed there are some important things you should think about.
Getting the Best Design
A lot of girls ask about the most appropriate tattoo to get. If you are asking about popularity, that is easy to answer. Girls would look great in floral, tribal, fantasy and foreign character designs. Tattoos however are never about just what is popular. Each tattoo design has its own unique significance. Each tattoo represents a person’s personality and preferences. It therefore follows that what may be great for one may not be great for you. When it comes to tattoo designs, you should have the final say. Good tattoo artists however can help you make the right decisions as to placemen t and tattoo size.
Tattoo Individuality
Most likely, you’ll find designs that are never completely unique. That is unless your design has been specifically made for you. If however, your tattoo was taken from a gallery, you could be sharing the same design with a couple of other people. Even so, tattoos should be all about individuality and uniqueness.
It’s possible that you will share the same design with someone else. You may even have it on a common spot like the lower back. Nonetheless, a design that is personally significant to you is still unique to you. Always remember to find meaning in a tattoo for girl design before you have it etched on your skin. This is the best way to preserve the individuality of a tattoo.
Your Life Situation
Getting a tattoo is a personal decision you have to make. You should however, always consider your situation first. It may be all well and good to have a very obvious tattoo if you just work at home or on your own business. It might be a different story though if you work in an ultra formal corporate office. Let’s face it. Even if there isn’t anything wrong with tattoos, some people still have biases against people who have tattoos. You could loose clients or the respect of your boss and colleagues with an ill-placed tattoo. Design placement and size should therefore be influenced by your professional and personal situation. There are places where you can hide tattoos like your foot or upper arm.
Following Popularity
There are some tattoo designs that change. Some are specifically more popular at a particular time or decade. It may be tempting to get into the band wagon and pick a popular design. It can be anything from a cartoon character to the symbol or name of a famous pop artist. No one can say that this is entirely wrong. You should remember though that popular things and people do not stay forever. You are better off with a design that is personally important to you.
Tattoo Placement
The spot where you put your tattoo is also another thing you have to consider. There are a couple of important placement considerations though. Aside from considering tattoo visibility, you should also consider skin quality. Females have different skins compared to males. There are certain parts that stretch, sag or develop cellulite as we age, give birth or gain weight. These areas may have to be avoided when considering tattoo placement.
Maximizing Serger Stitch Quality
Stitch quality is of paramount importance. Like stitches on a regular sewing machine, the proper formation of stitches produces either a beautiful and functional finish, or a mess. Unlike the stitches on a ordinary sewing machine, serger stitches may have up to eight threads.
Speed, stitch quality, trimming, overedging, and a multitude of threads work together to give the serger huge advantages over ordinary sewing machines. In one pass, the serger stitches, overcasts, and trims at speeds twice the ordinary sewing machine up to 1500 stitches per minute.
Professional looking stitches with vast varieties of applications, make sergers a prized sewing device, although you still need a conventional sewing machine.
When tensions are just right and each thread lies where it is suppose to be, it is a good stitch. Things like irregularities, loops, and puckers just dont exist.
Problems with stitch quality are a major irritation for serger users. They must be eliminated in order to produce consistent high quality seams and overedge finishes. Stitch problems may include faulty tension balances, irregular stitches, set up issues, and thread breakage. These and other stitch challenges can be overcome, but they require a little common sense, serger care, and basic technique.
A common source of stitch problems relates to problems with tensions. When you suspect difficulties here, rethread and make sure thread is right. Seat the threads carefully in their tension devices. Finally, adjust one thread at a time until all tensions are balances. Use a different color for each thread to make it easier to track.
Sometimes the stitches just do not look right. It may be weirdly formed, it may have hiccups, or may have rough inconsistent edges. We might describe these stitches as being simply irregular. When you find these challenges, begin by examining the thread line. Check for missed thread guides, possible snags, improperly seated thread in the tension assemblies, or poorly positioned thread rack. Correct as needed.
Rethreading is often helpful. Properly balance the tensions and make sure the needles are fresh and appropriate to the fabric. If the edge is inconsistent, try pre-trimming the edge and carefully guide the fabric consistently as you serge. Try adjusting the stitch length to see if that helps. Change threads especially if you are using older thread, highly linty thread, or otherwise lower quality threads. Closely inspect the loopers, needle plate, thread guides, and presser foot for possible burrs or rough spots. Smooth off and try again.
Often when you change the stitch set up, you will get faulty stitch formation. Go back and make sure you to properly complete the set up including associated tension balancing.
Sometimes thread breaks. This can happen the second you start serging, or it can happen at the most in opportune moment in the middle of a seam. The root causes are commonly needles, threads, tensions, burrs, and presser feet. Try the following to seek a solution. Check to make sure the needles are properly seated and positioned. Replace the needles and make sure they match the fabric. Change to a larger needle will sometimes reduce breakage. Inspect the thread to make sure it is good quality and has consistent integrity.
Bad thread is bad and needs to be replaced. Old thread and especially natural fiber threads tend to rot and decay. When you try to serge with rotten threads, they break. Before using a thread make sure it is in good dependable condition.
Generally, when the stitch quality is less than acceptable there are some basic things to check every time. These include needles, thread and threading, tensions, loopers, snag causes, settings, and balance. Replacing needles properly, rethreading properly, and adjusting tension balance are the three basic approaches to solve stitch problems.

Beginning Guitar Lessons – Different Parts of Guitar
Learning to play the guitar has been revolutionized by the Internet. It is easier than ever before to learn online with products like Jamorama, which covers all the bases. From reading music and tablature to playing by ear, Jamorama is a complete educational boon for the beginning player as well as intermediate players.
But before you get to all that stuff and start your beginning guitar lessons, you need to learn the parts of the guitar. That’s where I come in. Listed here are the parts of the guitar in relation to a right handed player. If you are left handed, just turn the guitar over and reverse the strings.
So, you are holding the guitar on your knee. The body is resting under your right hand. From the bottom of the body going towards the neck, the parts of the guitar are:
1. The tailpiece. This holds one end of the strings. It is usually metal, sometimes has a whammy bar attached to it and is either bolted or glued to the body.
2. The body. This is that pretty colored, shaped part that is just under your right hand. This is the largest part of the instrument and controls the sound of the instrument. Usually made of some type of wood but sometimes other materials are employed.
3. The pick ups or sound hole. On an acoustic guitar, there will be a sound hole under the strings in the center of the body. On an electric guitar, there will be between one and three electronic pickups there (no hole). Both of these have the same function, which is to transfer sound and make what you play audible.
4. The neck. This is sticking out to your left there and is about 2 ? feet long. Necks are made of different types of materials. Most common are rosewood and basswood. Higher quality guitars can use mahogany here.
5. The frets. These are the little metal bars running across the neck. The nearer they are to the body, the closer they are together. These make the different tones possible and your fingers will be placed just behind them.
6. The nut. This is where the neck joins the headstock. It is a hard nylon and has grooves that act as guides for the strings.
7. The headstock and tuning keys. This is the uppermost part of the guitar and has the tuning keys attached to it. The strings will be held by the tailpiece and then threaded through the tuning keys and pulled tight to be tuned. The tuning keys can be anything from plastic to gold.
All these parts are explained more thoroughly in Jamorama, the online guitar course that is taking the Internet by storm. Not only will you learn these parts of the guitar but more about what their purpose is and how to use them to tweak your sound.
You will see how to properly hold the guitar, use the fret board, strum and tune the instrument properly. Hell, the course even includes a FREE tuner. You can’t go wrong. These are the best beginning guitar lessons anywhere online, hands down!
Ukulele Chords: Playing A Minor
The three chords we’ve looked at so far in this set of articles – G, C and F – have been major chords. One way to increase the interest of a chord progression is to add minor chords.
So we’ll be taking this article to look at our first minor chord. One that fits well with the other chords we’ve looked at.
Explaining Minor Chords
The major chords we’ve looked at have all had a ‘happy’ sound to them. In contrast, minor chords have a ‘sad’ sound to them.
To change a chord from being major to being minor takes just one note: the third.
In a major chord, the third is four frets higher than the root note. So in an F major chord you have the F note and the A note (which is four frets higher than F).
The only difference with a minor chord is that the third note is only three frets over the root (that is one fret lower than in the major chord). So if the root is A, the minor third will be three frets higher: C.
Playing An A Minor Chord
The A minor chord is a very simple chord to play; it only takes one finger to play it.
To play A minor fret the G string at fret 2 with your middle fingers. And let all the other strings ring open.
With the A minor chord it is important that the underside of your ring finger doesn’t touch the C string and stop it playing. The C note is very important in the chord – without it the chord would not have its minor flavor. So play that string individually to make sure that it is ringing out clearly.
When chords are written up, they are often shortened. So you’ll usually see Am used as a shortened form of A minor.
A minor is known as the relative minor of C. So if you wanted to write a chord progression in the key of Am you could use all the chords that we have discussed so far in this series with that progression and they will work together and sound good.

The best piano lessons are the ones that allow you to maximize your creativity. When you are taught how to read the notes only, you are only able to play other people’s music. This is very limiting! Wouldn’t it be nice to be able to hear a song on the radio and be able to sit down and figure out how to play it on your own? Well some programs teach you this way, so that eventually you will be able to do this. As long as you are able to play by ear, you can also start creating your own music as well.

When searching for an online program, it is important to find something that doesn’t limit you to reading music. You need a program that really allows you to express yourself in your music by teaching you to play by ear in addition to reading notes. Find something that really interests you and is full of motivational lessons. This will make you a great piano player!
Playing the Organ is fun!
Although there are many people that think that if they can play the piano then they can manage to play the organ without any adjustment, they are wrong. Other than the keyboard, there are very few other similarities between the anatomy of the organ and that of the keyboard.
Have you ever heard the rich, harmonious sound that comes from the organ during Sunday Service? This is done by the organ player using their feet on the pedals, which produce the low-pitched bass line to help to bring the sounds of the organ alive. This is entirely different from the two pedals that a piano player uses when playing the piano.
There is a unique art in playing the organ, one that you too can develop with a little help and knowledge of the organ itself. The first thing to know is the difference in the pedals that you will use when you are playing the organ. The pedals range in keys from C, D, E, F, G, A and B, and shorter, higher keys for C#, D#, F#, G# and A#. This is imperative to know, otherwise your magnificent selection that you have decided to play on the organ may result in the sound of a woman screaming.
If you truly want to learn how to play the organ, go out and purchase a small organ and make sure that you purchase one that has the foot pedals. Experimenting with different types of music is the key here. If you already know how to play the piano then you should either know how to read music or play by ear, if not both. Try playing some of your favorite music on the organ. How did it feel? How did it sound? Unless you already know how to play the organ, it probably sounded pretty awful. Nevertheless, you have accomplished one goal. You have acquired some new knowledge, and that is the first step in making a huge difference.
Sure, you can play piano music on an organ, but it will sound different. The best way is to experiment with the various foot pedals to see which sounds better, and learn that way. If you are able to sort out the various keys on the pedals to find out which keys sound best when playing the organ then you are well on your way to learning how to play the organ.
Additionally, you could also purchase a DVD which contains organ lessons on it. Because most people are better able to learn by watching instruction, be sure to watch how the person plays the organ. Watch their footwork, how they hold their feet on certain pedals. Listen to how the music sounds. By taking the time to practice, you too will eventually be able to play the organ like this.
The one thing to remember is that it took some time to learn how to play the piano, and similarly it will also take you some time to learn how to play the organ. If you really want to accomplish this goal, make sure that you are in the right frame of mind. Do not get discouraged as nothing is accomplished overnight. Nevertheless, if you truly want to learn, you will soon find that you too will be playing the organ.
Practice the Piano
If you truly want to learn how to play the piano, the first thing that you need to do is to practice it. You will not be able to just sit down and play your favorite song on your first try. You won’t be able to unless you learn the important lesson in learning the piano: practice, practice, and practice some more.
Many people would love to learn how to play the piano. However, many of these people lack the drive and commitment that it takes when learning how to play the piano. Why? Usually this is because they want to become masters immediately, but they do not want to have to spend one or two hours a day practicing on the piano. This is especially true of children that are forced to take piano lessons by their parents.
Sure, the parents have their child’s best interest at heart but nothing becomes more tiresome than what you will experience if you do not have the desire to learn the piano. The piano is one of the most widely used instruments in the world, and they are used for not only creating music, but also practicing different versions of music. Some of the greatest musicians in the world play the piano, but how did they get to become so great? Obviously by practicing the piano. Unfortunately, it takes effort and a strong desire to have the knowledge to play piano, and if you are not willing to practice the piano then you can forget ever achieving your goal of maybe playing music at a local bar or club.
Practice and knowledge of the various keys and chords of the piano are of the utmost importance. Sure, you can love the music that is produced by the piano, however, you must posses the commitment that it takes in order to practice on the piano on a daily basis.
Do you have a goal that you can manage to reach if you strive to practice on a daily basis? Would you like to play the “Wedding March” at your sister’s wedding? But how can this dream come true without a lot of hard work? Practice the piano, there is no other option.
I know that it sounds as if I’m a broken record, but practicing the piano is the key element in obtaining all your goals and desires. Imagine how impressed your friends and family would be to see you sitting at a piano and playing one of the classic pieces from Mozart. Can you see the tears in your sister’s eyes when you tell her that you would love the opportunity to “play her down the aisle?” If you know how to play a musical instrument a vast number of new doors will become available to you, and who knows, maybe one of those doors is the one you have been looking for.
If you really want to have your dreams come true, practice is a must. Turn off that television program and try your best to practice a couple hours a day.
Remember, some practice is much better than no practice. If your regress and let your practicing go by the wayside, you will not be able to maintain the skill level that you previously accomplished, and what a waste that would be. To think that by only taking a couple hours out of each day to practice the piano, you can really begin to learn how to play like the professionals.
Tattoo for a Girl: Mistakes You Should Avoid
A tattoo for a girl has some considerations. It isn’t always as simple as picking a design you like and having it etched on your skin. Deciding to get a tattoo needs careful thought and reflection. Otherwise, you could make some serious tattoo mistakes. Here are some girl tattoo mistakes to avoid.
Tattooing Someone’s Name
This is one of the biggest and most common mistakes. It has nothing to do with an artist’s lack of tattooing skill. It has everything to do with your own present personal preoccupation. It may feel like someone will always be special to you and truly deserves to have his name or face tattooed on you.
Child or Parent – This may be a good idea if you are considering the name or face of your child or parents. After all, you can never change your parents and offspring. It is a different story though if you are thinking of a significant other. No matter how in love you are right now, you may not last forever. You do not want an ex’s name on you forever especially when you find someone new.
Not Researching About a Design
Most people commit the mistake of not knowing the exact meaning of a design and end up regretting about choosing the design later. Just because a design looks feminine and delicate doesn’t mean that it is meaningful. Of course, not everyone picks a tattoo design for its significance. Others pick designs based on the coolness or cuteness of appearance. This is all well and good but you don’t want to be stuck with a tattoo for a girl that has a negative or unintentionally humorous meaning. This is especially true with designs like angels, flowers, foreign characters and stars that may have various definitions depending on the particular style.
Getting a Tattoo for Someone Else
This is just like tattooing someone else’s name. You should avoid getting a tattoo simply because someone wants you to. You should always decide to have a tattoo because you truly want to. This is the only way you can grow old and still love your tattoo. It can be tough learning to live with a design that you regret getting.
Tattooing the Wrong Body Part
The right design isn’t your only concern. You also have to be sure that you have the right body part. It is not uncommon for women to have a body part tattooed and then regret it. Sometimes the design may not be appropriate to the body part. Sometimes though that body part itself may look perfect but clients still end up regretting it. This is because a design may seem too big, too small or too obvious. If you want the world to know of your tattoo, then you would be okay with large tattoos in visible areas. If you are a little shy though, then you could opt for tattoos that can be hidden from view like those on your bum or feet.
Being Only Half-Convinced
Probably the worst mistake you could make is to get a tattoo without being fully convinced that you should get one. A tattoo is something you will carry for a very long time. You should be certain that this is something that you truly want. Regretting getting a tattoo can be the worst thing that can happen to you.
